LARRY COX Robert Larry Cox, son of Charles Robert Cox and Eleanor Louise Board Cox Solomon, was born July 10, 1942 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He departed this life, Wednesday, September 24, 2014, in his home, Osage Beach, Missouri. On September 10, 2011, he was united in marriage to Terri Ann Niemann Boswell. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Terri Cox of Osage Beach, Missouri; three sons: Robert Larry Cox II and wife Lisa, Brian Douglas Cox and wife Sheri, all of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Dean Alan Cox and partner Bryan McQueen, of Kansas City, Missouri; his mother, Eleanor Solomon and husband George of Akron, Ohio; Terri's daughters: Amy Muschany and husband Ryan, Kristi Moore and husband Todd, all of St. Louis, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Nicole Ellis and husband Mark, Robert Larry Cox III "Trey", Lily Cox, Isaac Cox, Sarah Cox, Ruthie Cox and Alec Boswell; twelve siblings: Douglas Cox and partner Debbie Green, George Solomon and wife Hana, Geoff Solomon and wife Kristin, Paul Solomon and wife Lynn, Vicki Solomon, Mary Beth Abraham and husband Chuck, Judy Wierzbicki and husband Dave, Barbara Ricciardi and husband Perry, Jim Flack and wife Debbie, Mike Flack, Steve Flack and wife Blair and Mary Worthing and husband Tom; the mother of his children, Deanna Cox, of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Larry was raised in Ohio and was a graduate of Boston High Township in Akron in the class of 1961. At the age of thirty, he moved to Grandview, Missouri and founded Rolox Industries Inc. In 1988, Larry retired to the Lake of the Ozarks, leaving his oldest son to run the business. In 1998 they decided to sell the company. Larry made a profession of faith and was a member of Walk on the Water Faith Church in Osage Beach. He was a Shriner in Kansas City and Ohio and a member of the Elks Lodge in Osage Beach. Larry favorite things included golfing, boating, fireworks and karaoke. Most of all, he loved time spent with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the legacy and memories he created for his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Walk on the Water Faith Church, 959 Old State Park Road in Osage Beach. A reception will be held, following the service in the family home, 5839 Cobblestone, Osage Beach. Casual attire is acceptable. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Walk on the Water Faith Church/ Youth and Children's Programs. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
