Larry Stamper

Larry Stamper, son of Malcolm E. and Alta Mae Rush Stamper, was born, June 4, 1946 in Camdenton, Missouri. He departed this life, November 1, 2019, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy three years, four months and twenty eight days. On June 1, 1969 in Camdenton, Missouri he was united in marriage to Frances Ilene McGuire and to this union two children were born. Together they shared fifty years of marriage He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Woody Stamper. He is survived by his wife, Frances Stamper of Montreal, Missouri; and two daughters, Teresa Willerton and husband Ben of Camdenton, Missouri, and Sharon Jones of Camdenton, Missouri; grandchildren, Gretchen Peters, Valerie Jones, Emily Jones, John Willerton, and Megan Willerton; great-grandchildren, Beau Emmons, Asher Peters, Lexas Jones, Blaize Jones and Gabe Peters; lifelong friends, Nicky Williams, Larry Byler, and Bill Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Larry was raised in Camdenton for majority of his life. He lived in Kansas City for a part of his life until moving back to the area in 1968. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting guns, trap shooting, spending time at the gun club and golfing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2019 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services in the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
