Laura Feller

LAURA FELLER Laura Jane Feller, 44, passed away June 28, 2011 in University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. Survivors include her mother, Joann Russell and husband Robert; her father, Miles Feller and wife Joellen; a sister. Abbie Feller; two step-sisters, Christine Knauer and husband Paul and Elizabeth Fair and husband Rob; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and a significant other, Charles Bonnett. Laura was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 25, 1966. She attended high school at Incarnate Word Academy and later attended Columbia College in Lake Ozark and Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield. After college, Laura obtained her general bail bond license and for the past few years, operated a bail bond business in Camdenton. She was an avid pool player and was a member of the team that won a national championship in Florida. So full of life, Laura enjoyed fishing, camping, canoeing and many other outdoor activities. All those who knew and loved Laura should always hold her close to your hearts and remember her kind, generous and caring spirit. As was her giving nature in life, Laura's wish was to be an organ donor and so she will live on by helping others have a chance for a better life. The family would like to express gratitude to everyone at Ozark Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage Beach who took such good care of Laura over the past nearly two years. Under the circumstances, it's hard to imagine that any place else could have given Laura the care, comfort, love and joy she received from all the staff and residents at their facility. A memorial gathering will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2011 in Ozark Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage Beach. Because of Laura's love for animals, anyone wishing to make a memorial donation on her behalf should make them to Blue Moon Sanctuary, Camdenton. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisted the family with cremation arrangements.
