LEE HOWE Millard Lee Howe, son of William and Dorotha Osborn Howe, was born, March 3, 1934 in Laclede County, Missouri. He departed this life, Wednesday, January 30, 2013, in Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of seventy-eight years, ten months and twenty-seven days. On October 16, 1990 in Lebanon, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Vera Lee Coleman. Together they have shared the past twenty-two years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings, William Howe, Virginia Kritchley, Betty Harveston and Orlie Howe Survivors include his wife, Vera Howe of Camdenton, Missouri; four children, Cynthia Gifford and husband Rod of Lebanon, Missouri, Richard Howe of Stoutland, Missouri, Raymond Howe and wife Rosie of Lebanon, Missouri and Scott Howe of Lebanon, Missouri; a step-son, Darrell Rogers and Jodie Price of Camdenton, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Rogers of Lebanon, Missouri; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a brother, Danny Howe of Eldridge, Missouri; a sister, Della Kerr and husband George of Eldridge, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Lee was raised in Laclede County and at the age of seventeen moved to California. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, he remained in California for a time, before returning to Laclede County. He worked most of his life doing auto body work. In the early 1990's he moved to the Lake of the Ozarks area. Lee was a member of the American Legion Post in Lebanon, Missouri. He was an avid golfer and when time allowed, he could be found on the course. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. He touched many lives and his memory will linger on in the hearts of his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
