Linda Ann Spencer

Linda Ann Spencer, daughter of Bernard Russell and Helen Fay Yaw Kephart, was born, May 22, 1953 in Iowa City, Iowa. She departed this life, Sunday, November 20, 2016, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-three years, five months and twenty-nine days. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Jerry Kephart and Bernard Kephart, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Yolanda Terry and husband Benjamin of Camdenton, Missouri, Sallie Davis and husband Monte of Independence, Missouri and Alicia Spencer of Paola, Kansas; her grandchildren, Michael Terry, Lilly Terry, River Terry, Jonathan Spencer, Nicholas Spencer, Robert Spencer, Katelin Rommelfanger and Malcolm Davis; her sisters, Patty Kephart of Tripoli, Iowa, Peggy Svatos and husband David of Des Moines, Iowa and Carla Menees and husband Doug of Grand Island, Nebraska; her half-brother, Cleo Kephart and wife Vickie of Hannibal, Missouri; the father of her children Danny Martinez of Carson City, Nevada; her sister-in-law, Mary Kephart of Des Moines, Iowa as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Linda spent her formative years in Iowa before moving to Carson City, Nevada. Twenty-eight years ago, she moved to Camdenton, Missouri and made it her home till her passing. She had worked in several nursing homes as a Dietician and in later years, she took classes and wanted to become a Family Counselor. In her spare time, she kept busy with scrapbooking, crocheting, doing word puzzles and watching movies. The time spent hanging out with her grandchildren, is what she treasured the most. Linda was a loving mom, grandma, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and a caring neighbor, grandma to any and all whom entered her home, and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2016, in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the National Stroke Association and left at the funeral home. Memorial services are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
