Linda Therese (Lambert) Kramp, daughter of the late Jay & Joan (Donnelly) Lambert, was born on December 17, 1955 in Evergreen Park Illinois, departed this life on February 12, 2020 at University Hospital surrounded by her family. At the time of her passing she was 64 years, one month and twenty-six days of age. Linda was raised in Oak Lawn, Illinois where she graduated high school. After graduating she worked as a beautician and then as a secretary at CNN Insurance Company downtown Chicago. While working at CNN she was asked to go on a blind date. That is when she met her future husband of 40 years, Jerry Kramp. They were united in marriage on August 23, 1980. They bought a house and settled down in New Lenox Illinois where their only child Michele was born. Linda became a stay at home mom until Michele started school then worked as a secretary for the Army recruiting office. In 1990 they moved to Missouri. Linda started working at Tan-Tara Resort. She worked there for 20 years before retiring. Linda was an avid Nascar fan and loved to go to the races anytime she could. Her and Jerry also enjoyed traveling and wine tasting. They were both active in the Rendezvous Mountain Men, traveling to various locations including Pomme De Terre and the Bagnell Dam. One of Linda’s greatest joy’s in life was when she became a grandma! She carried around a photo book and would brag to anyone that would listen about her amazing grandbabies. Linda was a wonderful wife, mother and especially grandma. She will be missed deeply by all that loved her. Linda is preceded in passing by her parents and one grandson, Kyle Crocker. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Kramp; one daughter Michele (Aaron) Crocker; and two grandchildren Madison and Lucas Crocker. A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
