Lizzie Serena Pollard, daughter of Raymond Floyd and Nelma Brown Oliver, was born December 31, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri. She departed this life November 22, 2016 in Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of seventy-one years, ten months, and twenty-two days. On April 20, 1984, Lizzie was united in marriage to Oliver Pollard and together they have shared the past thirty-two years. Lizzie was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Tammy Braun and Lizzie Ditch; three brothers, Raymond, Robert, and Roy Oliver; a sister Barbara Chaffin; and a grandson, Eric Braun. She is survived by her husband, Oliver, of the home; her children, Jerry Braun and wife Barbie, of Dixon, Missouri, Diane Munoz and husband Raul, of Dixon, Missouri, Harry Braun, of Linn Creek, Missouri, and Angela Nash and husband Andrew, of DeSoto, Missouri and Christine Ringo and husband Aaron, of New Jersey; numerous grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Littlepage and Edna Kitzman both of Dixon, Missouri; her dogs, Pepper, Chyna, and Creature; numerous nieces, nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Lizzie spent her younger years living in St. Louis. She moved to Dixon in 1975 and in 1982 made her home in St. Robert. She moved to Linn Creek in 2002 to make her home. She spent time working as a waitress in St. Robert and later worked in the laundry department at Tan-Tar-A, retiring in 2001. Lizzie was an expert billiards player and had won many tournaments throughout the years. She also enjoyed watching soap operas, and doing word search puzzles. Lizzie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2016 at Seaton Memorial Cemetery, Dixon, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
