Marian Azelene Brown Shughart, the daughter of Frank Simpson and Luzetta Hanks Brown was born on March 16, 1926 and departed this life September 14, 2017 at the age of ninety-one years, five months and twenty-nine days. She was a member of the High Point Baptist Church. On March 21, 1992 in Climax Springs, Missouri, she was united in marriage to George Shughart. Together they shared twenty five years of marriage. She was known to love and enjoy her family and grandkids. Marian also loved to cook large dinners for different occasions. We all can remember, especially at Christmas and Thanksgiving time, that she would have lots of good food and desserts. If anyone left hungry it was their own fault. She took great pride in caring for her husband and children and the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved them dearly. Marian was a devoted wife and caring mother, grandma and great-grandma and aunt. She leaves to celebrate her memory her loving husband George Shughart of the home; one son, Harold Stoner of Camdenton, Missouri; two daughters, Mary Crider of Camdenton, Missouri and Connie Camerer and husband Monty of Adrian, Missouri; one step-daughter, Rachael of Iowa City, Iowa: one step-son, Joseph of Shreveport, Louisiana; ten grandchildren, James Dority and his wife Dee of Warsaw, Missouri, Mike Dority and wife Lee Ann of Camdenton, Missouri, Steve Dority and wife Arlene of Climax Springs, Missouri, Rick Dority and wife Charlotte of Climax Springs, Missouri, Teresa Graves and husband Delmar of Warsaw, Missouri, Erica Green of Adrian, Missouri, Shelby Cummings and husband Coby of Amsterdam, Missouri, Maci Camerer of Adrian, Missouri, Caitlin Kuszewski and husband Dan of Springfield, Missouri, Kara Eldridge and husband Jeff of Springfield, Missouri; eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Marian was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, David Vincen; one grandson Ronald Gene Dority; four sisters, Bertie, Ona, Lena, Edna and four brothers, Louis, Glen, Hubert and Willard Brown. She will be greatly missed and fond memories will be remembered by all who knew her and loved her, especially her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow at Climax Springs Cemetery, Climax Springs, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
