MARILYN CALLISON Marilyn Joann Callison, daughter of Clifford Josa and Minnie May Growth Spicer, was born, June 1, 1947 in McCook County, South Dakota. She departed this life, Wednesday, September 14, 2011, in University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri at the age of sixty-four years, three months and thirteen days. On January 1, 1984 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was united in marriage to Michael Scott Callison. Together they shared twenty-seven years of marriage. She was preceded in death by parents. Survivors include her husband, Michael Callison of the home; two sons, Shawn Murphey of Camdenton, Missouri and Troy Murphey of Lakeland, Missouri; two grandchildren, Zachery and Emily Murphey and other relatives and many friends. Marilyn was raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and attended school there. She lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota for several years. She later moved to the state of Missouri where she worked for a residential and industrial cleaning service. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and feeding wild birds, especially hummingbirds. She was a fun grandma and enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend. She made an impact on many lives and her memory will carry on in the lives of those she touched. A family memorial service will be held at a later date in Northern Missouri. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
