Mary spent her time in Kansas as a devoted Catholic and became deeply involved in the Christian Faith when she moved to Missouri. She would attend church whenever and wherever she could. She enjoyed writing and signing gospel songs.

In her spare time Mary enjoyed poetry, gardening, and sewing. She once submitted a poem to a local radio station contest and won! Her grandkids and family were import and fulfilling for her, and she loved being outside helping her husband.
