MARY CLARK Mary Gladys Clark, daughter of Fred and Sarah Kathryn Stanbaugh McDaniel, was born, October 23, 1925 in Macomb, Illinois. She departed this life, Thursday, September 11, 2014, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of eighty-eight years, ten months and nineteen days. On August 13, 1953, she was united in marriage to James Gordon Clark, Sr. and to this union five children were born. Together they shared fifty-seven years of marriage until his passing on January 21, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sons, John Clark and James G. Clark, II Survivors include three children, William Clark and Chris Clark both of Linn Creek, Missouri and Kathy Crouch and husband Jerry of El Paso, Texas; three grandchildren, Jack Crouch, Adam Clark and Caitlin Wandling; numerous great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Julia Clark of Linn Creek, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mary was raised in Macomb, Illinois and she graduated from high school there. After her marriage, they lived in various places in the United States while her husband served in the military. They retired to Linn Creek, Missouri in 1977. She was a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, gardening and crocheting. Most of all, she prided herself on keeping her family clean, fed and happy. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. A private family funeral service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Freedom Cemetery and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
