Mary had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of Union Southern Baptist Church in Decaturville. Mary had a loving soul and was a mother to everyone she knew. In her spare time, she enjoyed caring for her garden, taking walks, going for rides in the snow, and riding with her son James on his motorcycle.
