MARY LOU ROBINSON Mary Lou Robinson, daughter of Emil Todd and Emma Henrietta Shipman Houser, was born, December 20, 1928 in Tolono, Illinois. She departed this life, Tuesday, February 2, 2010, in Osage Beach Health Care, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of eighty-one years, one month and thirteen days. She was united in marriage to Joseph W. "Bill" Robinson and together they shared many years of marriage until his passing on September 25, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Earl Houser. Survivors include a brother, John Houser and wife Mavis of Woodstock, Georgia; two nieces, Rheana Merrell and husband Glenn of Franklin, North Carolina and Jeanine Andres of Tuscola, Illinois; a nephew, Allan Houser and wife Betty of Lavon, Texas; a great-niece, Tina Ponder; three great-nephews, Michael Houser, Aaron Houser and Roger Ponder and several great-great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends. Mary Lou was raised in Illinois where she met and married Bill. They lived and worked for many years in Tuscola, Illinois. In the early 1960's they moved to the Lake of the Ozarks and owned and operated a resort for many years. They later retired to Camdenton. Mary Lou made a profession of faith and was a member of the Camdenton United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Mamas, the Camdenton Methodist Quilters and the Camdenton Methodist Crafters. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting and crafting and had many beautiful projects throughout the years. She was an avid reader. She especially enjoyed books dealing with families and relationships. She was a loving sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2010 in the Camdenton United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m., Saturday in the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Camdenton United Methodist Church and left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
