MARY JANE WILLIAMS Mary Jane Williams, daughter of Charles Uhlan and Martha Jane Gibson Hartley, was born September 8, 1946 in Rabun County, Georgia. She departed this life, surrounded by her family, Friday, November 9, 2012, in her home in Linn Creek, Missouri at the age of sixty-six years, two months and one day. On June 15, 1963 in El Centro, California, she was united in marriage to Donald Buel Williams Sr. and to this union six children were born. Together they shared forty-six years of marriage before his passing on April 20, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Amelia Jane Tull; her father, Charles Hartley, her brother-in-law, Jimmy Williams and her father-in-law, John Vernon Williams. Survivors include her children, John Williams and wife Tammy of Camdenton, Missouri, Donnie Williams of Linn Creek, Missouri, Missy Smith and Trey Scott of Linn Creek, Missouri, Nathan Williams and wife Tiffany of Linn Creek, Missouri, Sara Weber of Linn Creek, Missouri and Joe Muscia and wife Patty of Linn Creek, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren, Jamie Beabout and husband Tony, Jake Williams and wife Kirsten, Alexandria Tull, Jessica Turner, Michael Burton, Colton Goldsberry, Ethan Burton, Zach Burton, Cayla Weber, Mason Weber, Cahdee Jane Williams, Trevor Smith, Bo Williams and Alayna Scott; a great-grandchild, Blakely Claire Beabout; her mother, Martha Hartley of Linn Creek, Missouri; two brothers, Jim Hartley and wife Connie and Buddy Hartley and wife Linda all of Yuma, Arizona; her mother-in-law, Wanita Rowlette of Linn Creek, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mary was raised in Georgia until the age of fourteen when her family moved to California. She was a graduate of El Centro High School in the class of 1964. She met and married Don and they made their home for a short time in California before moving to Phoenix, Arizona, then later moved to Linn Creek, Missouri. She and Don raised prize winning Belgian Blue cattle. She was the manager of the Camdenton License Bureau for several years. She was a Republican Committee Woman for the Jackson Township and a member of the Camden County Republic Club where she volunteered in the Republican Headquarters for many elections. Mary made a profession of faith and was baptized in Georgia. She enjoyed attending the different churches that her children were members of. Mary was proud of her Southern roots and loved almost all things associated with the south and her home state of Georgia. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, crafting and helping out around the farm. Following retirement she and Don travelled the country in their travel trailer. She was an avid reader and a Civil War buff. She was especially proud of her large family, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She spent every minute with them and was their source of knowledge and heart-felt advice. She would always greet you with a smile and leave you with a kind word. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her memory will linger on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012, in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery, Montreal. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Lakota Indian Children's Fund and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
