Matthew Byler

MATT BYLER Matthew Vaughan Byler, son of Hugh Vaughn and Sandra Lee Cox Byler, was born, March 28, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life, Monday, July 11, 2011, in Gravois Mills, Missouri at the age of forty-five years, three months and thirteen days. He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Hubert and Mabel Byler and his maternal grandparents, Harold and Barbara Cox. He is survived by his children, Ciara Elizabeth Byler and Hugh Vaughan Byler II both of the home; his mother, Sandra Byler of Linn Creek, Missouri; his twin brother, Milton Byler of Linn Creek, Missouri; a sister, Esther Black of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Matt was a life-long resident of Linn Creek. He spent most of his working years as a carpenter. He was a proud father and loved raising his children. In his spare time he enjoyed time spent riding his horse and fishing. Most of all, time spent with his family was most important. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. Although he left was too early, his memory will linger on in our hearts forever. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2011 in Linn Creek Baptist Church under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday in the church. Memorial donations may be made to a fund established for his children and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
