MAXINE E. BRISCOE Maxine Elanor Briscoe, daughter of Mack Louis Hall, Sr. and Annabelle Dick Hall, was born February 5, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, November 15, 2011, surrounded by her family in Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-five years, nine months and ten days. On April 20, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Noel Leland Briscoe and to this union five children were born. Together they shared fifty-seven years of marriage before his passing on December 2, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mack Hall, Jr. and two sisters, Bernadine Brennecke and Geraldine Richards. Survivors include three sons, Frank Briscoe and wife Carolyn of Camdenton, Missouri, Ron Briscoe and wife Lisa of Kansas City, Missouri and Garry Briscoe and wife Linda of Roach, Missouri; two daughters, Ann Rinehart and husband Randy of St. James, Missouri and Nancy Harrison and husband Chuck of Moberly, Missouri; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Maxine was raised in Kansas City. Noel worked for the government and they raised their children in various locations around the state before retiring to their weekend home at the Lake of the Ozarks in 1979. Maxine was raised in the Baptist Church. She was a volunteer with the Salvation Army and also volunteered at the Dogwood Animal Shelter. In her spare time, she enjoyed making quilts and produced many beautiful pieces for her family to enjoy. She was a good cook and loved cooking for her family. She loved weekends spent at the lake with her family and friends as her children were growing up. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
