Mecia Jean Carter Mecia Jean Carter, daughter of Earl Bartley, Sr. and Tamara Eberhart Bartley, was born February 9, 1981 in Osage Beach, Missouri. She departed this life Sunday, August 28, 2016 in Ozark Rehabilitation Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of thirty-five years, six months and nineteen days. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Elizabeth Bartley; maternal grandparents Tommie and Jean Eberhart She is survived by her parents, Earl Bartley, Sr. of Kansas City, Missouri and Tamara Eberhart Bartley of Linn Creek, Missouri; her children, Alexandra Carter and Austin Carter of Montreal, Missouri, and Hunter Farris of Camdenton, Missouri; her brother, Earl Bartley, Jr. and wife Liz of Fort Campbell, Kentucky; her nephew, Noah Bartley of Oklahoma; a niece, Annie Bartley of Fort Campbell, Kentucky; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Mecia was born in Osage Beach and was a lifelong resident of the Camdenton area. She was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the class of 1999. Mecia had spent the last ten years working as a Custodian in the Camdenton R-III School District where she made many friends and enjoyed working around the children. Mecia had accepted Christ as her Savior and attended Kent Memorial Lutheran Church, in Sunrise Beach, Missouri. In her spare time Mecia loved spending time with her children. She enjoyed being outside, hunting and fishing, and always had a smile on her face. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the Buddy Pack Program of Camdenton R- III Schools and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
