Melinda Kay Williams, daughter of Marion and Sally Wages Beam, was born, January 3, 1960 in San Diego, California. She departed this life, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in her home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of sixty-four years, nine months and twenty-six days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Conrad “Red” Putnam and a brother, Colonel Kenneth Beam.
Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Putnam and Brandon McElwee of Camdenton, Missouri and Tracy Kreischer and husband James of Perry, Georgia; her son, Brian Putnam of Camdenton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Kennedy Snelling, Myles McElwee, Matthew Kreischer and Rosalee Kreischer; two sisters, Cheryl Poole of Prescott Valley, Arizona and Beverly Jones and husband Mike of San Diego, California; her niece Chelsea Wright; two whom were special to her, Jeffrey and Matt and a host of other family and many friends and she was Memaw to so many. Melinda loved everyone and had a kind and giving soul.
Melinda was born and raised in Sand Diego, California. She was a mom and a homemaker while there. She moved to Camdenton in 2001 and was a caregiver for many years.
In her spare time, she loved and treasured the time she spent with her family and friends and she cherished her grandchildren. Melinda, enjoyed crafting, gambling, Yahtzee and elephants.
She was a loving mom, memaw, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. Melinda was the best mom and taught her children to be good and caring people. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the many beautiful memories she created for her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Friday, November, 1, 2024 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
