Melissa Dawn “Missy” Beck, daughter of Donald Paul and Sarah Kathy (Edwards) Danuser, was born July 8, 1971 in Osage Beach, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in her home at the age of forty-nine years, six months, and eleven days. Missy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John and Dorothy Danuser; her maternal grandparents, Verl and Eula Alice Edwards; and a close family friend, Hardney Rush. She is survived by her father, Donald Paul Danuser and partner Roxanne Davis, of Linn Creek, Missouri; her mother, Sarah Kathy Danuser, of Montreal, Missouri; her children, Brandon O’Shey Beck, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Derek William Beck, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, and Mya Dawn Dorothy Danuser, of Camdenton, Missouri; her siblings, Craig Danuser and wife Julie, of Montreal, Missouri, Shawn Danuser and wife Lori, of Montreal, Missouri, and Kassy Patterson and husband Troy, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; as well as her nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Missy was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the Class of 1989. She later attended Southwest Baptist University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psyc hology. Missy had accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at the Linn Creek Methodist Church. She was a member of Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church at the time of her passing. Missy’s family was very dear to her and she cherished the time spent with them, especially her children and parents. She was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Camdenton Lakers and Elvis Presley. She loved to watch her sons play football for the Lakers and enjoyed listening to the games every Friday night during the season. Missy was known to many as a comedian, and in her spare time she liked to play bingo and write poetry. Missy was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many memories she has created for her family and many friends. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery in Montreal, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to Preferred Family Healthcare and may be mailed to the funeral home at 15 Clint Ave., Camdenton, Missouri 65020.
