MICHAEL COTE Michael Hyland Cote, son of Ralph Paul Cote, Sr. and Connie Gail Cordell Cote, was born, May 8, 1977 in Austin, Texas. He departed this life, Saturday, October 27, 2012, in University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri at the age of thirty-five years, five months and nineteen days. He was preceded in death by his natural father Frank Albert Maynard, Sr. and his grandparents. Survivors include his children, Maia Cote, Michael Cote, Jr. and Matilyn Cote all of Buffalo, Missouri; his father and mother, Ralph, Sr. of Vidor, Texas and Connie Cote of Camdenton, Missouri; the mother of his children, Chrystal Cote of Buffalo, Missouri; his siblings, Kimberly Joy of Galveston, Texas, Dan Wilson and wife Tracy of Camdenton, Missouri, Natalie Cote of Buffalo, Missouri, Gabriel Cote, Ralph Cote, Jr. and Cassie Cote all of Camdenton, Missouri, Angela Maynard, Kenneth Maynard and wife Amber, William Maynard and Frank Maynard, Jr. all of Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Michael was raised in Camdenton and attended school there. He worked as a floor installer around the lake area often for free. Michael attended Potter's House and Family of God Church in Camdenton. In his younger years, he played indoor soccer with a league in Springfield. He enjoyed fishing and spent many hours in the outdoors. Michael had a special love for music all of his life. He was talented at barbecuing. Most of all, people will remember him for his kind and giving heart and his love for the Dallas Cowboys. He was a loving dad, son, husband, brother, uncle, nephew and a caring neighbor and friend. Although his life was too brief, he impacted many lives and his memory will linger on in the hearts of his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hufft Cemetery, Eldridge. Memorial donations may be made to a fund established to assist the family through Family of God Church and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
