MICHAEL JOE PIERCE Michael Joe Pierce, son of Joe Monroe and Margaret Katherine Cyrus Pierce, was born, March 23, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life, Monday, December 2, 2013, in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of fifty-three years, eight months and nine days. He was united in marriage to Connie Sue Weaver. He later married Pamela Deshotel. He was preceded in death by father and his grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Pam Pierce of Rochester, New York; his mother, Margaret Pierce of Camdenton, Missouri; a sister, Anita Pierce of Camdenton, Missouri; a step-daughter, Ashley Deshotel; two nieces, Jennifer Land and Melissa Bowles; a nephew, Jeff Bowles; a cousin/brother, Dave Criner and a host of other relatives and many friends. Mike moved with his family from Kansas City to the family farm outside of Camdenton in1961. He worked various jobs; most recently at Independent Stave as a boiler operator. Michael made a profession of faith and was a member of First Baptist Church of Camdenton. In his spare time he loved to fish. He enjoyed coon hunting and deer hunting with his father and friends. Most of all, he loved time spent with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, son, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. Although he left us too early, we can carry the wonderful memories he created for his family and friends forever. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Camdenton or Pleasant Hill Cemetery and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
