Michael Kirschke Michael Robert Kirschke, son of Alan E. Sr., and Janice Kennard Kirschke, was born August 17, 1959 in Denver, Colorado. He departed this life Thursday, November 13, 2014 in his home, in Versailles, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mike is survived by two brothers, Patrick Kirschke of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Alan Kirschke and wife Cindy of Camdenton, Missouri; two sisters, Arlyne Page and husband John of Camdenton, Missouri, and Daelyne Ford and husband Jim of Anchorage, Alaska; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. He was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, until the family moved to Camdenton, Missouri to open the 5-81 Motel. He joined the Army and following his honorable discharge, returned home at which time he enrolled at Linn Tech. Mike lived for a short time in Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Versailles to make his home. He attended Church at the Hopewell Union Church in Barnett, Missouri. Mike was a nature lover. In his spare time he could be found by the river with a fishing pole and a string of catfish, and when not there, he was in his deer stand. Mike’s heart and sweet nature will be sadly missed by his family and friends who loved his friendly and giving attitude. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flower, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or to the Christmas for Kids fund at PO Box 392, Versailles, Missouri 65084.
