Michele G. Jeffries

Michele Gay Jeffries, daughter of Lashley Treman, Jr. and Shirley Irene (Hesser) McDaniel, was born August 4, 1952 in Quincy, Illinois. She departed this life Saturday, June 23, 2018 in her home, at the age of sixty-five years, ten months, and nineteen days. On December 11, 1972 she was united in marriage to Louis Michael Jeffries and to this union two children were born. Michele was preceded in death by her parents; and a niece, Shaylee McDaniel. She is survived by her husband, Mike, of the home; a daughter, Tami Warnke and husband TJ of Strafford, Missouri; and a son, Alan (AJ) Jeffries and wife Kim, of Grain Valley, Missouri; two grandchildren, Layla and Peyton Jeffries; her siblings, Lashley Treman “Chip” McDaniel III; Sandra Viles and husband Ben, of Camdenton, Missouri, Kim McDaniel, of Camdenton, Missouri, Don McDaniel, of Tunas, Missouri, and Sheryl Moore and husband Bret, of Greenview, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Michele was born in Quincy, Illinois and moved with her family to Camdenton at an early age. She was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the Class of 1970 and attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. Shortly after returning from CMSU, Michele began her career at Wal-Mart and retired as the Receiving Manager after thirty-eight years of service. Michele made a profession of faith and had attended St. George’s Lutheran Church in Camdenton. In her spare time, Michele enjoyed playing bingo, enjoying the lake life and spending time on the farm. She was known for her beautiful quilts and had made countless quilts for her family and friends throughout the years. She was also an avid bowler and was a member of the Missouri State Women’s Bowling Association. Michele was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
