William Michael “Mikey” Leffert, son of William Daniel Leffert and Alta Marie Adams Leffert, was born, December 29, 1954 in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life March 26, 2023 in the Springfield Villas, Springfield, Missouri at the age of sixty-eight years, two months and twenty-six days.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by four sisters, Brenda Watkins of Linn Creek, Missouri, Barbara Kaufmann of Linn Creek, Missouri, Annette Clemmons & husband Curtis of Climax Springs, Missouri, Judy Dutton of Linn Creek, Missouri; one brother, David Leffert & wife Peggy of Nixa, Missouri; thirteen nieces and nephews, Melinda Hughes, Kevin Sellers, Jody Smith, Jeremy Moreau, Eric Lemire, Jimmy High, Colten High, Jessica Jackson, Johnathan Dutton, Christina Atkinson, Franchesca Leffert, Blake Leffert, and Bradley Leffert. As well as other relatives and many friends.
Mikey as he was known to most was raised in Montreal, Missouri and attended the old Montreal Scholl until it’s closing and then attended and was a 1973 graduate of Camdenton High School. As a teen he enjoyed setting around whittling wood with his father. When he was of age to work, he began assisting the Missouri Department of Conservation before spending the majority of his working days working at the Claiborn Turkey farm.
Mikey made a profession of faith and was a member of the Assembly of God church in Camdenton, Missouri where he was baptized.
In his spare time, he enjoyed putting together and painting model cars, fishing, and loved a good walk.
He was a loving and a caring brother, uncle, great-uncle, neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time-of-service Monday, April 3, 2023 in the funeral home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2023 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Institute and left at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
