MILDRED BLAIR Mildred Maxine Blair, daughter of Charles Cecil and Goldie Mae Jackson Osborn, was born, January 11, 1919 in Camden County, Missouri. She departed this life, Friday, September 24, 2010, in Richland Care Center, Richland, Missouri at the age of ninety-one years, eight months and thirteen days. On August 5, 1944 in Camdenton, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Manuel Jefferson Blair and to this union two children were born. Together they shared over fifty years of marriage until his passing on June 12, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Charles Wright. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Wright; a son, Jerry Blair and wife Linda; four grandchildren, Paula Evans and husband Steve, Becky Keeney and husband Glenn, Jerry Blair Jr. and wife Rachel, and Mike Blair and wife Belva all of Camdenton, Missouri; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-granddaughters; a sister, Lou Frey of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; two brothers, Alvin Osborn of Lone Jack, Missouri and Malcolm Osborn and wife Joan of Linn Creek, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mildred was raised in Camden County and was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the class of 1937. She worked for three years as a typist in the State Capitol in Jefferson City. She later worked for Blair Cedar as a packer and retired after twenty years of service. Mildred made a profession of faith and was a member of First Baptist Church of Camdenton. In her spare time she enjoyed researching family history. Most of all, she loved time spent with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
