Mildred “Wee Gee” Koch Mildred Louise Koch, daughter of Roy Clifford and Lucy Dean Thompson Cox, was born, January 13, 1934 in Olathe, Kansas. She departed this life, Saturday, April 9, 2016, in her home, Climax Springs, Missouri at the age of eighty-two years, two months and twenty-seven days. On November 9, 1988 in Miami, Oklahoma, she was united in marriage to James Gerald Koch. Together they shared twenty-seven years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, James “Stretch” Koch of Climax Springs, Missouri; three sons, Tony Gannaway of Weston, Missouri, Floyd Gannaway and wife Helen of DeKalb, Missouri and Ronald Gannaway of Bolivar, Missouri; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Fayetta Dennison of Weston, Missouri, Nina Bidlencik of Silverdale, Washington, Roy Clifford Cox of Kansas City, Missouri, Mary Francis Collins of Plattsburg, Missouri, Thomas Richard Cox of Florida, Sharon Kay Long of Plattsburg, Missouri and Cindy Marie Henderson of Plattsburg, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Wee Gee was raised in Smithville, Missouri and graduated from high school there. She lived on a farm in Platte County, Missouri for several years before moving to the West Coast. She moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1994. She made a profession of faith and was a member of the Baptist faith. In her spare time, she loved to fish. She also enjoyed traveling and deer hunting. She was an avid collector of dolls. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2016 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cable Ridge Cemetery, Climax Springs. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Thursday in the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
