Nancee Ann Jones

Nancee Ann Jones, daughter of Zane and Bernice T. Jablonski Yankowski, was born, February 3, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri. She departed this life, Saturday, October 26, 2019, in her home, Montreal, Missouri at the age of seventy years, eight months and twenty-three days. On October 6, 1968, in Lake Ozark, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Roy Jones and to this union two children were born. Together they shared fifty-one wonderful years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Jones of the home; her son, Andrew Scott Jones and wife Jennifer of Lakewood, Colorado; her daughter, Lindsey Brooke Jones of Cave Junction, Oregon; her granddaughter, Jasmine Elizebeth Jones; one grandson, Awesome Jones on the way; her sister, Barbara J. Mans and husband Donavon J. of Osage Beach, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Nancee attended Catholic Grade School in St. Louis, Missouri before moving to the Lake when she was in the seventh grade. She was a graduate of the Class of 1967 from Camdenton High School. Kenneth and Nancee were classmates through school and the only ones married to each other out of that class. She attended Central Missouri State University briefly. They moved to Kansas City, Missouri and then back to Montreal to the family farm in 2005. She was a dedicated homemaker to her family. Nancee made a profession of faith and was a member of Buffalo Prairie Baptist Church. She was very active in her church by teaching Vacation Bible School, Awana’s, and organizing most activities. She also was the church secretary for a short time. She took great pleasure in decorating the church. In her spare time she enjoyed scrapbooking, decorating, especially during Christmas. The time she loved the most was time spent with her family and church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Buffalo Prairie Baptist Church, Montreal, Missouri with Memorial Services held at noon, and lunch to follow. Burial will be at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Montreal Cemetery or Lake Regional Hospice and left at the church or mailed to the funeral home at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 15 Clint Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri 65020. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
