Nell Janette Wilson, daughter of Steen and Maurine (Alexander) Lemon, was born November 27, 1939 in Atoka, Oklahoma. She departed this life Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Arrowhead Senior Living, at the age of eighty-two years, seven months, and twenty-four days. On June 10, 1962, Nell was united in marriage to Dale Edwin Wilson, and together they shared fifty-eight years of marriage until Dale’s passing on February 12, 2021. Nell was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Gary Wilson; a sister, Marilyn Brown and her husband Ed; her sister-in-law, Maria Lemon; her daughter-in-law, Rozella Wilson; and a grandson, Jansen Steen Wilson. She is survived by her sons, Leonard Wilson and wife Ann, of Conway, Arkansas, and Carl Wilson of Camdenton, Missouri; her brother, Steen Lemon, Jr. of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Colin Wilson, Alex Wilson, Ahvielle Wilson, and Kendra Rasco; her nieces, Karin Sailor, Jackie, Leslie and Vanessa; her nephew, Steen Lemon, third; great-nephew, John Sailor; her daughter-in-laws sister, Tracy Rasco, as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. Nell was born in Oklahoma and spent her early childhood there. She later moved to Iowa and following her graduation from college, moved to Missouri to make her home in the Laquey and Crocker areas. She spent her career working as an Art Teacher in various elementary schools in the area and retired after many years of teaching. In her spare time, Nell enjoyed doing various art projects, feeding and watching the many birds in her yard, walking their dogs and spending time with family and friends. She loved her sweets and singing Gospel music. She had a beautiful voice. Nell was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends. A visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
