Oliver Pollard, son Dudley & May (Lock) Pollard, was born on February 25, 1945 in Montrose, Colorado. He departed this life, November 17, 2021 in Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy-six years, eight months and twenty-three days. On April 20, 1984, he was united in marriage to Lizzie Serena Oliver and together they shared thirty-two years of marriage. He was preceded in death by wife, Lizzie Pollard; his parents; one son-in-law, Raul Munoz; and one-half brother, Charles Pollard. He is survived by his children, Jerry Braun and wife Barbie, of Dixon, Missouri, Diane Munoz of Dixon, Missouri, Harry Braun, of Linn Creek, Missouri, and Angela Nash and husband Andrew, of DeSoto, Missouri and Christine Ringo and husband Aaron, of New Jersey; numerous grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Aldridge. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Oliver was raised in West Plains where he would later graduate from high school in the class of 1962. Following his high school graduation, he would then move to Kansas where he would later enlist in the United States Army in 1966. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for twenty years before retiring in 1986. Following his retirement, he moved to Waynesville where he would work for various places before beginning his career at Tan-Tar-a where he worked from 1994-2012. While stationed in Germany he loved to be involved in auto racing, serving as a mechanic for the autobahn races and racing in the pro-am circuits. In his spare time, he was a member of the Handyman’s club, enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle, regardless of the weather. He was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
