Patricia Ann Lair, daughter of Manford and Nellie Roberson Davidson, was born, May 21, 1935 in Rock Island, Illinois. She departed this life, Saturday, March 24, 2018, in Boone Hospital, Columbia, Missouri at the age of eighty-two years, ten months and three days. On September 10, 1983, in Camdenton, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Richard Lair. Together they shared thirty-four wonderful years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kara Dian Seamer Myers, her sister, Virginia King and the father of her children, Francis “Butch” Seamer. She is survived by her husband, Richard Lair of the home; four sons, Kelly Seamer of Camdenton, Missouri, Kevin Seamer of Linn Creek, Missouri, Kai’l Seamer of Camdenton, Missouri and Keenan Seamer and wife Bobbi of Atalissa, Iowa; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren;a sister, Mildred Fath of East Moline, Illinois; a brother, Don Davidson of Moline, Illinois, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Patricia was raised in the Rock Island, Illinois area where she graduated from Rick Island High School. She had a passion for music, especially polka. When she was in high school, she was in the Mello Tones’ Quartet and had trained with Spebsqua Mens Barbershop Group after school. She worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for several years. In 1978, Pat and her husband Francis, bought Water’s Edge Park and changed the name to what everyone knows it now as Der Vater’s Edge RV Park and Marina. Richard and Pat ran the resort until 2011, but continued to live in their beautiful 1890 home. Patricia made a profession of faith and was a member of New Home Baptist Church, Camdenton, Missouri. In her spare time Richard and Pat became interested in NASCAR racing. Her interest in racing came from her dad who was a mechanic on stockcars in the late 1940’s. She had even tried driving stock cars for a couple years. Pat loved to sew, and had a passion for painting garden statues of birds, animal, flowers and gnomes that are all in their flower gardens. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018, in New Home Baptist Church, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the church. Memorial donations may be made to New Home Baptist Church and may be left at the church or mailed to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 15, Clint Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri 65020. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
