Patsy 'Pat' Hatcher

Patsy Lou Hatcher Patsy Lou (Pat) Hatcher passed away on Monday, September 20th, 2010, in Camdenton, Missouri, with her family by her side. She was born March 17, 1918, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Thomas Cassius (Dan) and Louella Bryan Thornberry. She graduated from high school at 16 as Salutatorian of her class in Goodnight, Texas, May, 1934 (class of 6). Pat attended Wayland College in Plainview TX in 1934/35 and Wichita Falls Junior College in 1935/36. She received her bachelor's of arts degree in English from Texas Technological College in 1939. She received a Masters in Education from Drury College in 1977. She married William Henry Hatcher May 6, 1939 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Hatcher taught school, first in New York State, and then at the Camdenton High School from 1973 to 1981. She is survived by her children Dana Krehbiel, and her husband Dave of Camdenton, and Bill Hatcher, and his wife Susan, of Oakland, Tennessee, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her father, mother, her only sister, and her only brother. At her request, Pat was cremated. Memorials may be made to the Camdenton Literary Club. A Celebration of Pat Hatcher's life will be held in Camdenton, Missouri, at a date yet to be determined. The arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
