Patty Ann Deines

Patty Ann Deines, daughter of Nolan and Percie Forsyth Calvert, was born November 20, 1936 in Waverly, Kansas. She departed this life Friday, October 28, 2016 in her home, at the age of seventy-nine years, eleven months, and eight days. On March 25, 1971, Patty was united in marriage to Raymond Deines, and together they shared thirty years until Raymond’s passing March 3, 2001. Patty was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Donald, Irvin, and Hollis Calvert; and a sister, Margie Swain. She is survived by her sister, Jean Rath, of Stover, Missouri; three children; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Patty spent her younger years living in Kansas and was a graduate of Waverly High School in Waverly, Kansas. She moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in the 1950’s to make her home. Patty had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Montgomery Baptist Church. Patty had a knack for crocheting and had made many beautiful afghan blankets throughout the years. She took great pride in her handy work, and enjoyed sharing them with her family and friends. Patty was a loving sister, mother, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2016 in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the Montgomery Baptist Church and can be left at the funeral home on the day of the services.
