Phyllis Eilene Blaylock Butler, daughter of John Alvie and Cecil Fane Gooding Blaylock, was born, July 28, 1936 in Washington, Illinois. She departed this life, October 31, 2019, in her home, Montreal, Missouri at the age of eighty three years, three months and three days. On April 24, 1955 in San Diego, California, she was united in marriage to Jack Austin Butler and to this union two children were born. Together they shared sixty four years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Kelly Hermes, granddaughter, Andrea Butler, sister, Shirley Gundy, five brothers, Virgil Blaylock, Leslie Blaylock, George Blaylock, John Blaylock and Jack Blaylock. She is survived by her husband, Jack Butler of Montreal, Missouri,; son, Steven Butler and wife Nan of Montreal, Missouri,; granddaughter, Stevie King of Waynesville, Missouri, grandsons, Dakota Hermes of Arizona, Austin Hermes of Gilbert, Arizona, Ethan Butler of Lake Ozark, Missouri, and Ashton Butler of Lake Ozark, Missouri,; sister Betty Threet of Montreal, Missouri,; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Phyllis was raised in Washington, Illinois where she attended grade school and graduated high school. She was a beautician for thirty five years. Phyllis made a profession of faith and was a member of Riverview Baptist Church of Osage Beach, Missouri. In her spare time she enjoyed painting, playing the piano, singing and teaching the bible. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
