Ralph Ahart, son of Ralph and Iva (Marrs) Ahart, was born February 5, 1964 in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of sixty-years, eleven months and seven days.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Harold Ahart.
He is survived by his children, Lucas Ahart of Olathe, Kansas, Seth Ahart and wife Laurel of the State of Washington, and Sarah Phillips and husband Ethan of Kansas City, Kansas; his significant other, Cindy Stauch, of Camdenton, Missouri and his beloved dog, “Bear;” as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Ralph grew up in Camdenton and was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the Class of 1982. Ralph was active in athletics while he was in school and was a proud member of the Camdenton Laker Football Program. During his time as a Laker, Ralph started a tradition that will forever be a part of Laker Football lore. On Friday nights in the fall, after a Laker win, you can hear the continuous chant of “Ralph” coming from the locker room until the designated “Ralph” enters and the post-game celebrations begin. Ralph will forever be part of the Laker Football program.
Following his graduation, Ralph started his career at UPS. He worked as a driver for many years until January 2008, at which point Ralph became a Business Agent for the Teamsters Local 688. He held that position until his retirement on June 21, 2021.
Ralph’s goal in retirement was to play golf and spend as much time as possible with his children. He was a member at Lake Valley Golf Club where he enjoyed playing with the 10.50 group and the occasional Tuesday night card game. Ralph made many friends at Lake Valley and will truly be missed by everyone at the club.
He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Mizzou Tigers and Camdenton Lakers whenever he could. His true love was the Kansas City Chiefs, he was a season ticket member and rarely missed a Chief’s home game.
Spending time with his children was something that he truly cherished. Ralph never missed an opportunity to tell his friends how proud he was of all of his kids.
Ralph was a loving father and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2025 at Lake Valley Golf Club, Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until time of service at Lake Valley Golf Club. Burial will be at a later date in Jarrett Cemetery, Iberia, Missouri.
The family asks that you wear your Chiefs, Mizzou, Camdenton Laker, or St. Louis Cardinals attire to the services.
Donations can be made to the donors choice.
