RALPH W. STONEBRAKER Ralph W. Stonebraker from Camdenton, Missouri, passed away on December 18, 2010. He was born August 2, 1920 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ralph and Mary Stonebraker. He is survived by his wife, Margie Stonebraker, children James, David, and John Stonebraker, Fred Marxer and Peggy Illert. He served in the United States Army 1942 thru 1945. After his honorable discharge, Ralph was employed by a corrugated box manufacturer for many years, filling various positions, including Vice President, Finance & Administration. He was active in a professional accounting organization and served as President of the St. Louis Chapter of National Association of Accountants and National Vice President of NAA. After years of boating on the Mississippi River, in 1972 Ralph and Margie discovered the Lake of the Ozarks. The following year, they rented a cabin, then purchased property in the area and began spending as much time as they could. January 1987 he retired and they moved permanently to the Lake. He became involved with several non-profit organizations and in 1989 joined SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives). He worked with people in the counties surrounding the lake, assisting them with business plans to start businesses, obtaining loans, and helped clients expand and manages their businesses. He also helped SCORE plan and present workshops to educate owners and managers in the ways of business. He has been a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Camdenton for many years and has been serving there as an Eucharistic minister for several years to the present. Throughout his life, Ralph selflessly dedicated himself to many church and civic organizations. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m., Tuesday in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1874 N. State Hwy 5, Camdenton, Missouri 65020. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
