Richard Kruse

Richard Anthony Kruse, son of the late Aloysius & Mary (Dunlap) Kruse, was born on August 15, 1951 and departed this life on February 28, 2020. At the time of his passing he was 68 years, 6 months and 13 days of age. Rich was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Ritenour High School. He later worked for Dr. Pepper Snapple Group in Springfield, Illinois before retiring in 2013. After retirement he moved to the Lake of the Ozarks area and spent time working for High Brothers, Deer Creek Golf Course and the City of Lake Ozark. Although Rich worked various jobs in the area, his passion was in caring for his alpacas and horses at his Osage River Alpaca Farm. He attended St. Anthony Catholic Church in Camdenton, Missouri. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching hockey, water skiing and was an avid outdoorsman. Rich was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tom Kruse. He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Audrey Kruse of Macks Creek, Missouri; six children, Joel (Jenny) Kruse of St. Louis, Missouri, Jenna Kruse of Washington, D.C., Josh (Laura) Kruse of Springfield, Illinois, Tracy Brasfield of Riegelwood, North Carolina, Eric Fisher of Watauga, Texas and Tylor Fisher of Wilmington, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Harper Rose Kruse, Leo Kruse, Levi Brasfield and Garrett Hickman; five siblings, Janet (Tom) DiMaria, Mary Gurrieri, Kenny Kruse, Sharon (Paul) Garnier and Dianne (Eddie) Lipari; and his beloved dog, Sandy. A funeral mass will be held at St. Peters Catholic Church in St. Charles, Missouri at a later date and will be announced when available.
