Rita Faye Anderson

Rita Faye Anderson, daughter of the late Farrell Edward & Ina Faye (Mann) Winfrey, was born on June 16, 1952 and departed this life on July 13, 2024. At the time of her passing, Rita was seventy-two years and twenty-seven days of age.

She was preceded in passing by her husband Edward Anderson; parents; grandparents, George & Stella Mann/Ed & Etta Winfrey; sister Kathryn Heimbeaugh; and father of her children, Raymond Flory.

She is survived by children, Angie Thomas and husband Capt, and Nick Flory & wife Alesia; Grandchildren, Brett Kincaid (Ciara Byler), Ryan Kincaid (Miranda Nelson), Dominik Ray Flory and Shane Thomas; Great-Grandchildren, Olivia Kincaid, Asher Nelson, Ezra Kincaid, and one on the way; and her nieces, Rhonda LaFoy, Pam Lombardo & husband Eric. In her passing, Rita leaves behind many friends and other family members who will all truly miss her.

Rita was born in Lebanon, raised in Montreal, and later graduated from Camdenton High School in the class of 1970. Her senior year, Rita married Raymond Flory. While raising their children, Rita stayed in the home and later in life, she worked in Medical Records at Lake Regional Hospital for nearly twenty years, until her retirement.

Rita made a profession of faith and was saved at an early age.

In her spare time, Rita truly enjoyed tending to her flowers and pets. She was an avid music fan and quite the writer. Rita never turned down a crossword puzzle, a round of trivia, or a political argument. Her quick wit remained intact and she kept everyone on their toes! Above all, she loved to socialize with her friends and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
