Robert Michael “Bob” Antoniak, son of Raymond A. and Helen C. (Stoica) Antoniak, was born January 16, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska. He departed this life January 29, 2021 in his home at the age of seventy-four years and thirteen days. On September 19, 1970, Bob was united in marriage to Diedra Nelson, and together they have shared the last fifty years. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Dee, of the home; his daughter, Carrie Sampson of Gravois Mills, Missouri; a grandson Dominick Sampson, of Gravois Mills, Missouri, his siblings, Barbara Ludlow, of Verndale, Minnesota, Raymond R. Antoniak and wife Kaye, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, and Connie Stevens and husband Donald, of Omaha, Nebraska; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many friends. Bob grew up in Omaha and was a graduate of Omaha South High School in the Class of 1965. Following his graduation, Bob entered into the United States Marine Corps and faithfully served his country until his honorable discharge. He started his career in construction as an apprentice carpenter and worked his way to master carpenter. Bob also served his community in the Omaha Police Department as well as the Omaha Fire Department. Bob would later move to the Lake of the Ozarks area where he owned and operated Home Design and Planning. Throughout the years Bob drafted plans for many of the beautiful lake homes and light commercial buildings throughout the area. Bob was baptized into the Catholic Church and was a faithful member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Laurie, Missouri. In his earlier years, Bob was an automobile and boat enthusiast. He truly loved life and cherished the time spent with his family and enjoyed his friends in the “liars club” at the coffee shop. He was a member of the Zack Wheat American Legion Post 624 and the Elks Lodge. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many memories he has created for his family and friends.
