Robert William Hill, son of Robert Andrew and Lois Dusenberry Hill, was born, April 25, 1937 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He departed this life, Wednesday, August 14, 2019, in his home, Linn Creek, Missouri at the age of eighty-two years, three months and twenty days. On February 26, 1974 in he was united in marriage to Patsy Ruth Robinson. Together they shared forty-five years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Robert A. Hill. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Hill of the home; a daughter, Jenifer Hill of Shreve Port, Louisiana; a son, Robert “Robbie” Allen Curtis of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Robert, Blake, Katie, Matthew, Samuel, Alex and Cori; his great-grandchildren, Krysten, Gabriel, Brady, Harper, Saylor, Tyler, Caspian and Mina; two brothers, Tom Hill and Richard Hill as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Robert was raised and graduated from high school in Stet, Missouri. After graduation he attended Mizzou and then further his education by earning his master’s degree in Animal Husbandry at Texas A & M. He then moved back to the family farm in Stet, Missouri before moving to Shreveport, Louisiana. He worked for International Mineral and Chemical out of Chicago. He moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1988 and opened the Goodyear Store in Osage Beach, Missouri before his retirement. Robert made a profession of faith and was a member of the Linn Creek Methodist Church. In his spare time, he and Patsy loved spending time on their farm. He was a volunteer at the hospital and helped up till shortly before his passing. Robert and Patsy were members of the IDIOTS Club. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. Robert has blessed his family and friends with many memories that they will always treasure. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in Linn Creek Methodist Church, Linn Creek, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to Linn Creek Methodist Church or Lake Regional Hospice and may be left at the church or the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
