ROGER ARNSBERG John Roger Arnsberg, son of John Lawrence and Gertrude Victoria Kaslin Arnsberg, was born, September 16, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life, Thursday, May 16, 2013, in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of seventy-six years and eight months. On August 11, 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Judith Marie Seevers. Together they shared forty years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Judy Arnsberg of the home; four children, Billy, Debbie, Darrel and Vickie all out of state; a step-son, Bob Seevers of Camdenton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jessica Barnhart, Josh Seevers and Jenny Seevers; three great-grandchildren, Lilly Seevers and Haley Francis and a host of other relatives and many friends. Roger was raised in St. Louis and served his country proudly in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, he returned to St. Louis where he worked for McDonnell Douglas. He and Judy moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1972 and ran an appliance business for several years. He then began a career as a school bus driver for the Camdenton R-III school district. He was proud of his fifteen years of service to the district. Roger made a profession of faith and was a member of Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed treasure hunting, coin collecting and Civil War history. Roger never met a stranger and enjoyed conversation with those he came in contact with. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
