Ronald Louis Kaufmann

Ronald Louis Kaufmann, son of Henry G. and Rose Marie (Cappelle) Kaufmann, was born September 16, 1948 at Park Lane Memorial Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, April 28, 2022 in his home at the age of seventy-three years, seven months, and twelve days. Ron was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Kaufmann, of Linn Creek, Missouri; his children, Kim Miller, Robin White, Scott Kaufmann, Jody Smith, and Jeremy Moreau; numerous grandchildren; his siblings, Hank Kaufmann and Roseanne Jost; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Ron married Barbara (Moreau) Leffert in Effingham, Illinois on November 28, 1994 and together they shared many wonderful memories. Ron grew up in Webster Grove and was a graduate of Webster Grove High School. He was drafted into the United States Marine Corps on April 28, 1969 and served as a Supply Supervisor until he was honorably discharged. In 1990, Ron moved to Lebanon, Missouri. Then in 2001 Ron moved to Linn Creek and remained there until his passing. Ron finished his career at Lowe Boats in the fishing division where he also served as a supervisor until his retirement in 2015. Ron was an avid golfer and boater and spent countless hours restoring his 1968 Camaro. He was a caring and devoted husband and always provided a positive outlook on life. Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends.
