ROSE DYE Rosella Jane Dye, daughter of Alford and Minnie Spiedel Northern, was born March 12, 1941 in Twin Falls, Idaho. She departed this life, Saturday, June 30, 2007 in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-six years, three months and eighteen days. On November 15, 1980 in Beaufort, South Carolina, she was united in marriage to David Joseph Dye. Together they have shared the past twenty-six years. She is survived by her husband, David of the home; her mother, Minnie Bauman of Ash Grove, Missouri; five daughters, Melody Whittingham and husband John Wozniak of Bolingbrook, Illinois, Dawn Avisado and husband Jim of Libertyville, Illinois, Michelle Reed and husband Doug of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Shawn Bruehl and husband Al of Waukegan, Illinois and Rhonda Schick and husband Ben of Lakeview, Ohio; two sons, Brian Inouye and wife Dawn of Anaheim, California and Aaron Dye-Inouye and wife Sarah of Pleasanton, California; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was raised in Missouri and Illinois, spending the majority of her childhood in Illinois. She lived throughout the country during her life, being a military wife. Besides being a devoted mother and housewife, she worked as a waitress and in customer service. She and her husband retired to the Lake of the Ozarks area one year ago. She made a profession of faith in Christ and was and followed the Methodist faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, traveling and watching plays. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Rose was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 5, 2007 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m., Thursday in the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
