Rose Ina Hays

Rose Ina Hays, daughter of John H. and Lucille Stewart, was born on December 18,1929, in Denton, Texas. She spent her early years in Texas and then, moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she met her late husband, Merle E. Hays. RoseIna departed this life, April 23, 2017, in her home in Climax Springs, Missouri at the age of eighty-seven years, four months and five days. RoseIna was united in marriage to Merle E. Hays on July 20, 1956, in Prescott, Arizona. They moved to Climax Springs where they spent their life working and enjoying their farm. She loved gardening, watching birds and wildlife, traveling with late husband, Merle, and their close friends, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys and frequented the Climax Springs Library to pick out a good book. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle, and parents, John and Lucille Stewart. Survivors include her sister, Marcella Sheeler, Ft. Worth, TX, her niece, Nicole Sheeler and husband, Tom, of Saratoga Springs, NY and her longtime friend, neighbor and “guardian angel” Pam Hocker and her family of Climax Springs, MO., and her many friends in the community. RoseIna was always a loving, caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for everyone she came encountered. Funeral services will be held at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton, MO., on Friday, April 28 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mose Clark Cemetery, Climax Springs, MO. Memorial donations may be made to the Mose Clark Cemetery and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
