On September 14, 1991 in her home on Pier 31 Road, Camdenton, she was united in marriage to Carl Edward Wilson and to this union they were blessed with their loving son, Jansen Steen Wilson. Together they shared twenty-nine wonderful years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her son, Jansen; her parents; her brother, James Butler and her brother-in-law, Gary Wilson. She is survived by her loving husband, Carl of the home; her sister, Tracy Butler Rasco of Camdenton, Missouri; her brother, Aaron Thompson and companion, Kristin Dickelman of Camdenton, Missouri; her niece, Kendra Rasco of Osage Beach, Missouri; her father and mother-in-law, Dale and Nell Wilson of Crocker, Missouri; her brother-in-law, Leonard Wilson and wife Ann of Conway, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. Roz grew up and had spent all her life in Camdenton. She attended all of her school years, kindergarten thru graduation from high school class of 1985 at Camdenton R-III Schools. She was a member of the Drama and Debate Clubs and had traveled with the Debate Club. She was active in several school plays also. Her Senior class was not allowed to have a senior trip because of past trips behavior, but she organized one on her own. Right out of High School, she started working for Wal-Mart in Osage Beach, Missouri. It was just an empty building when she started. She rose to manager over the Stationary department and wore paperclips for earrings. She then took over the Toy Department and helped open the Super Center. In the meantime, she received her auctioneer license and was active with several different auctioneers. In 1986, she left her job at Wal-Mart to spend the last week with her dad. She started the Flea Market booths and weekend sales with her family and eventually started Forked Road Event with her friend Melissa Cleland and her family. Roz was repeatedly offered a managements from Wal-Mart, but refused because she did not want to leave her home. She was saved at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she also was a member. She loved her faith and reading scriptures. In her spare time, she loved doing the sales and auctions and meeting new people. She had made a lot of amazing friends this way. She also loved, reading and scrapbooking when she could find the time. She died doing what she loved, getting ready for her next sales show in November. Roz was loved by many. She loved all of her family and friends by being a positive influence and helping people through their hard times and problems. She was often told that she should be paid for her counseling services. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
