RUBY WILLIAMS Ruby Lee Williams, daughter of Dorsey "Shorty" and Rose May Binkley Jackson, was born, March 1, 1933 in Enon, Missouri. She departed this life, Tuesday, October 29, 2013, in Hillcrest Care Center, DeSoto, Missouri at the age of eighty years, seven months and twenty-eight days. On February 27, 1954, she was united in marriage to Bobby Dale Williams and to this union three children were born. Together they shared fifty-two years of marriage before his passing on November 11, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ricky Dale Williams and a grandson, Jimmy Lombardo. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Cochran and husband Danny of Kaiser, Missouri and Vickie Sparkman and husband of Dave of Hillsboro, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Misty Flaugher and husband Terre, Audrey Virgin and husband Jon, Lacy Hedrick and husband Jake, Nicholas Cochran, Starla Lombardo, Jordyn Funke, Darien Funke and Bobby Williams; eleven great-grandchildren, Kira, Kenyan, Keyevan and Kazlyn Virgin, and Christian, Cole, Abbie and Hatti Hedrick, Madux and Macey Flaugher and Gage Joseph Mayo; a sister, Shirley Williams of Tuscumbia, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Mace of Osage Beach, Missouri and Eileen Williams of Kaiser, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Ruby was raised in the California, Missouri area. After her marriage to Bob, they made their home in Kaiser, Missouri. She worked as a welder and helped at the Lee Mace Ozark Opry. She enjoyed many years and a homemaker. Ruby made a profession of faith and was a member of Camdenton First Assembly of God Church. In her spare time she loved to go to garage sales and find bargains. She enjoyed crocheting and being outdoors. Time spent traveling was a joy to her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013, in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Kaiser. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Saturday in the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
