RUTH MUSELMANN RUSSELL Ruth Muselmann Russell was born, May 18, 1917 in Cowgill, Missouri the daughter of Gus and Minnie (Mussellman) Muselmann. She departed this life, Saturday, October 27, 2007 in Osage Beach Health Care, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of ninety years, five months and nine days. She was united in marriage to Elbert Thompson Russell. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Robert Moore in 1997; three sisters, Elizabeth, Jenny and Lydia and a great-nephew Randy Henderson. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Pat Moore of Laurie, Missouri; six grandchildren, Bret Moore and wife Sheryl, Kent Moore and wife Dena, Kenda O'Quinn and husband Steve, Margie Upshaw and husband Bill, Debbie Linter and husband Don and Linda Cashatt and husband Clayton; eighteen grandchildren, Stevi, Seth and Serri Moore, Nicholas Nelson and wife Ashley, Dakota and Zachary Moore, Faith and Grace O'Quinn, Telia and Carissa Upshaw, Nichol Cook, Kelly Snow, Tonya Linter, Kristina Bates and Clifton, Colton, Clinton and Kylie Cashatt; three great-grandchildren, Ryan Cook, Austin Snow and McKenzie Bates; three nephews, Earl Henderson and wife Lucy, Cooper Hedenskog and wife Phyllis and Larry Hedenskog and wife Janet; a great-nephew, Rick Henderson and wife Janet; a great-niece, Rhonda Price and husband Larry and other family members and friends. Ruth lived in Independence, Missouri and attended William Chrisman High School. She worked as an inspector for Parmalee Plastic in Kansas City, Missouri until her retirement in 1982. She moved to the lake area in 1984. She made a profession of faith in Christ and followed the Baptist faith. In spare time she enjoyed quilting, cross-stitch and cooking. She loved her little dog Shelly. Her family was very important to her and enjoyed spending time with her friends. Ruth was a loving and was a caring mother-in-law, grandmother and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2007 in Cowgill Cemetery in Cowgill, Missouri under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton. No visitation will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Dogwood Animal Shelter and left at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.alleeholmanhowe.com.
