Sharon Braby

Sharon Ann Braby, daughter of the late Jack & Mildred (Gravert) Moeller, was born on June 2, 1948 and departed this life on January 19, 2024. At the time of her passing, Sharon was seventy-five years, seven months and seventeen days of age.


Sharon was preceded in passing by her husband, Jack Braby; her parents; and one brother, Bill Moeller.


She is survived by her daughter, Angela (Jonathan) McKim; three stepchildren, Cindy Cole, Tony Braby and Kelly (Leta) Braby; three siblings, Jackie (Randy) Thornbloom, Mary Burk and Robert (Traci) Moeller; grandchildren, Arica (Hunter) McGuire, Sydney George (Max Schooler), Hannah George (Zach Douglas), Emma Braby and Abby Braby; great-grandchildren, Weston McGuire, Nash McGuire, Kynedi Schooler and one on the way; and her sister-in-law, Katie Moeller. Sharon also leaves behind many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, friends and other family members who will all truly miss her.


Sharon was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa and moved to Des Moines, Iowa her senior year of high school and graduated from Valley high school in 1966. Following her high school graduation. Sharon was united to marriage to Jack Braby on December 9, 1972. Together they would move to Garden Grove, Iowa where they would raise their family. In 1986, the family moved to Lake of the Ozarks, where Sharon worked for Camdenton Vo Tech and was self employed. Following her husbands passing, Sharon moved to Lebanon, Missouri, where she would operate her own daycare.


In her spare time, Sharon truly loved spending time outdoors fishing and camping. Above all, she cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always having a jar full of Oreo cookies ready for them.


Sharon was a loving mother, sister, grandma & great-grandma and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.


A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2024, at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 15 Clint Ave, Camdenton, MO 65020.


Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
