SHARON SHIPMAN Sharon Ann Shipman, daughter of John and Mary Ellen Neeley Tabin, was born, December 2, 1944 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. She departed this life, Thursday, May 8, 2014, in her home, Macks Creek, Missouri at the age of sixty-nine years, five months and six days. On October 8, 1961in Camden County, Missouri, she was united in marriage to William Robert Shipman and to this union two daughters were born. Together they shared fifty-two years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Brenda Louise Leap and Glenna Cooper and two brothers, Kenneth Leap and Raymond Leap. Survivors include her husband, Bill Shipman of the home; two daughters, Penny Sinak and husband Michael of St. Louis, Missouri and Lisa Rotar and husband Ronald of Dixon, Missouri; three grandchildren, Luke Sinak and wife Beth, Levi Sinak and Rebekah Sinak; two great-grandchildren, Isaac and Ava Sinak; four brothers, Gary Leap and wife Debbie of Phillipsburg, Missouri, Jackson Leap and wife Susan of Nashville, Tennessee, Donald Leap of Camdenton, Missouri and Paul Leap and wife Judy of Macks Creek, Missouri; three sisters, Donna Jones of Waterloo, Iowa, Phyllis Eidson of Macks Creek, Missouri and Roberta Willis and husband Vaughn of Macks Creek, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Bertha Leap of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Sharon was a life-long resident of Camden County. She was a homemaker and a help-mate to her husband. Sharon made a profession of faith and was a member of Linn Creek Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and gardening. She loved working on family genealogy. She was a member of the Camden County Historical Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Graveside funeral services and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2014 in Freedom Cemetery under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton. Memorial donations may be made to Freedom Cemetery and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
