Shirley Hannah

Shirley Hannah Shirley Hannah, daughter of the late William & Fern (Cartnal) Spargo, was born, July 19, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri. She departed this life on August 11, 2021 in Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy-nine years, zero months and twenty-three days. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hannah Jr.; her parents; and one brother, Bill Spargo. She is survived by her daughter, Lynnette and husband John Smith of Richland, Missouri; son, Arthur Hannah III of Richland, Missouri; five grandchildren, Arthur R. Hannah IV, Rachael & spouse Trista Croce, Wes and wife Katey Smith, Cody and wife Susan Smith and Kristin and husband Randy Plemmons; brother, Jim Spargo; brother-in-law, Dennis and wife Peggy Hannah; sisters-in-law, Beverly Tebeau and Anna and husband Bob Richardson; and nine great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will all truly miss her. Shirley went to Hancock School where she met many wonderful lifelong friends. On January 9, 1960 she was united in marriage to Arthur R. Hannah Jr., and together they shared fifty-eight wonderful years of marriage. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crafts and dancing when she was younger. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going boating, shopping, going on vacations and spending time with friends and family for the holidays. She was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
