Sidney E. Bullock Sidney Eugene Bullock, son of James Chester and Opal Hunsinger Bullock, was born, October 15, 1935 in Drexel, Missouri. He departed this life, Monday, September 23, 2019, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of eighty-three years, eleven months and eight days. On November 16, 1974 in Linn Creek Baptist Church he was united in marriage to the love of his life Beverly Joyce Burns and together they shared forty-four years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Susie Rea and a granddaughter, Janetta. He is survived by his wife, Beverly of the home; his son, Rocky Bullock and wife Debbie of George, Iowa; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Todd and Hannah; three great-grandchildren, Breck, Daniel and Kaylee; a great-great-granddaughter, Raylynn; four special nieces and nephews, Julie, Elijah, Joel and Bella Ollison; ten sisters and brother-in-law, JoAnn Jennings of Lebanon, Missouri, Peggy and David Arnold of Lebanon, Missouri, Thelma and Jim Anderson of Lebanon, Missouri, Betty Hamme and husband Bob Guy of Camdenton, Missouri, Shirley and Joe Crain of Macks Creek, Missouri, Carol and Mark Sauerbrei of Lebanon, Missouri, Leon and Sylvia Burns of Camdenton, Missouri, Vickie and Ron Hogeland of Sarasota, Florida, Linda Swift of Camdenton, Missouri and Ruby Burns of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Sidney grew up in the Drexel area where he attended Drexel High School and graduated early. He was eager to move to Kansas City and start working. When he turned eighteen, he joined the United States Navy and served our country proudly for four years as a radar man. After he left the military, he attended college and studied drafting, he then purchased a gas station in Butler Missouri. Sidney moved to California and worked as an industrial x-ray technician on the Saturn Satellite. He would come to Missouri to visit his parents and he met the love of his life, Beverly. Sidney and Beverly had traveled all over the United States when he delivered boats. He owned and operated Bullock Drywall for over twenty years and also had attended auctioneering school and owned and operated his own auctioneer service. He was a man that always loved a challenge and adventure. Sidney had been saved and was of the Baptist faith. He had been a member of the Masonic and Lions Club Osage Beach. He was a strong Republican and had worked many Republican rallies and the Tea Party Movement. In his spare time he love to hunt and collect arrowheads. He was an expert wood carver and had blessed his family and friend with keepsakes that they will always treasure. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother-in-law and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 27, 2019 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Decaturville. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday evening in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Horeb Cemetery and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
